Car running issues

Wierd one this (I think)

Wife just called, driving car along it started stuttering, and then stalled a few times... She called AA who arrived, started it, tookit for a drive and found nothing wrong

Wife also said the battery light had been staying on for a brief while when she first starts it but I havent seen any of this when I drive it (only twice a week if that)

Anyone got any ideas? It has plenty of fuel, all the AA man could come up with was to ask if it had been filled up at a different petrol station, which it has and was DEFINATELY FILLED UP WITH THE RIGHT FUEL!

Wierd one huh?

Sounds like you need to plug it in and see if an error code appears. Could be sensor issues, crank sensor etc possibly?

Please bring back carbs!

What Mick said. I've had these symtoms a couple of times and it turned out to be the o2 sensors failing and sending duff info to the ECU.
