Insurance issues.

Evening all,

It's been a while since i've been on here after selling my MK2 a few years ago.

I have been given a 53 plate ZS180, 1 owner from new (my brother) for free. All it needs is tyres, and pads and disks all round and it will be good to go.

The only issue I have is insurance. I am 23, have a clean licence and 4 years NCB, and I can't get a quote even for TPFT under ?1000 with both elder brothers included on the policy, with clean licences for over 15 years.

I had owned ?15,000 worth of 350z at 20, and also own a sports bike, and my insurance policies are no where near what is currently getting quoted for the 180. Any idea what is causing the high prices? Lack of parts?

Can anyone recommend any companies for a quote?

Many thanks for your time,
Stephen

Everyone's getting humped with insurance prices mate. Not sure really about recommending a company.

Loads of recommendations elsewhere, but a good tip is to try to get a female on there as a named driver.
