Our New ZT-T

This is the ZT-T that we've just bought today for £700!!

The only problems with it that i know of at the moment is the noisy inlet manifold and an engine management fault, which is P0155 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1) so any info on that fault would be helpful!

A strange question though, does the Quadcam engine have a cam belt??

Yep one up front and two on the rear of the cams.

To replace will cost near what you paid for the car.

That looks a lot of car for the money,

Anyone know of a relatively cheap mobile MG man to do the cam belts??

Might need to get the head gasket done aswell?

For £700 i'd run it into the ground mate and then when the engine goes - if it goes - buy another engine or indeed - break it and buy another whole car !

If the engine has a hgf I would be running it until it dies! Not an easy fix at all. Engine out jobbie really and do the belts, tensioners and thermostat whilst you are at it.

I would look into that before you go for the head gasket thats very rare on the kv6 . what makes you think it might need a head gasket ?

Got some white gunk in the oil cap but have been told that it's not uncommon to get some gunk from condensation from short journeys? Hopefully that's true! It deffo needs an oil change anyway so will have to see how it goes for now!
