coilpack

anyone close to tamworth that has got any working coilpacks for mgzs 120 need to eliminate idle issue

If it is not misfiring i would rule out the coilpacks as when one goes down the drop in power is noticeable, had one go down on my v6 and it chugged like hell but idled okay it will more than likely be the idle control valve or a vacuum leak.

As each coil pack fires two spark plugs I'd guess it would be very noticeables if it was one on them.

Try jiggling the large connector under the throttle body, see if that makes any difference.
