unlucky mate, I bought 4 new tyres for my track day as the goodyears were getting a bit past it triggering the ABS under heavy braking.

Car really looks the part and sounds good in the video. I'm afraid my camera is a really cheapy and the sound goes a bit funny when it gets loud.

not a very long video as it cuts out for some odd reason, just as the race gets going. but its a wee clip never the less.

this was the session that the tyre went 'pop' and was also when we decided to start using the camera.. gets going about 1min 30sec

Well last night was a first I must admit but the Track car, Yellow peril has now moved on.....


It being a first only because the guy who has it now phoned and collected the car at 11:45pm... And to add to it drove it home an hour and 15mins away in its current track ready state. Brave man indeed. Had a phone call today and its in its new home all safe and sound. New owner said it drove really well on the way home so always a good sign.

It will be going to knockhill this Sunday as far as I am aware so I will be up there spectating my car going round the track....


Kinda missing it already. Was considering taking it up next month aswell

Good its gone, but still a bit sad.

Will be strange seeing it being pushed around Knockhill!!

Was up at Knockhill today for a Hot Hatch Day, and also to watch the ZS go round the track with its new owner...

got up there for about half 11 and was raining as usual but as the day went it dried out a little and got to see the ZS go round a few time, and I must admit it looked amazing! had a chat with him, and he managed to put a MOT and tax on it.... one way or another.... so technically we now have another ZS back on the road.

he fired a new tyre on it and as I told him it was track ready and went racing with it, seemed really really impressed with it and said it surprised him how quick it actually was.


during the day he done good passed a new shape civic type R, had took on and passed all the usual suspects clios corsa nova mx5 and so on.. had to be one of the top 5 cars in its group. so overall really happy its getting used, and happy to have seen it go round the track, what a roar off it ... but a little gutted now it has left and moved on but just means i will get the clio in order a little quicker now

totally agree Peterzs, I have less than a grand in mine including tax and test, best money I have ever spent
