Bonnet louvres

Has anybody actually had louvres put into any part of the bodywork especially the bonnet, am I right in saying that the paint has to come off firstly or does a respray have to be done afterwards 'cos if so I have the blue ZS and is that a pearlescent colour and if I get my bonnet resprayed will the match of shade will be off compared to rest of the paintwork?

I guess the paint will get damaged as you are cutting and bending the metal.

any sort of body modification usually will require a respray afterwards. No one is neat enough to cut out parts without damaging the paint.
