IMHO, if i was wanting to put a small suttle scoop in for CAF, i'd look into getting a mk2 420 GSi bonnet, taking the small hump the had on the offside of the bonnet out.

Fitting it to the nearside of the zed bonnet above where the airbox would be.

Indenting the centre line of it, cutting the angled bit out and meshing it.

Does anybody get my drift? I'd make a photoshopped pic but wouldn't know were to start and don't have the software either lol.

I dunno if you could use a scoop as a cold air feed on the ZS without re-routing the air filter totally. There just isn't enough room under there for complicated pipe work

Here is another one what about reverse scoops you can get just been reading this wouldn't this help on getting the engine bay cooler which in turn help on the induction. Dont know how fast you would have to go to get the high pressure zone on the bonnet though.

Unless you build a scale model and have wind tunnel access, the only other option would be trial and error. In order to create such an effect would require a fairly reasonable aperture to get enough airflow. In doing so would probably create a bit of an eyesore and seeing where the throttle body is in relation to the caf it would be tricky to execute.

Not impossible, just needs doing to approve or disprove the theory.

would probably be much nicer if it was smoothed in properly and not just stuck on. Those Astra GSi vents don't suit it at all!
