They say taste is subjective but in this case it's almost completely vanished!
Not going to be too harsh though as I think the purple colour suits the car, just a shame they had to go two tone.

You're right, the purple does suit it - but that is so "pre" manufacturer old skool design!
I remember 1998-9 I was into my Escort RST's (had 5 of them! All modified LOL) and kinda like a two-tone car but thought who the heck would buy this in a years time!!!
Taste is subjective, but as you said - sometimes a little bit of the green stuff in a roll-up does strange things for our perceptions!!!

I think if he plastered it up as a race/track car it might not look too bad.

if it was solid of either of those two colours it would be nice, but together it just looks weird. They clash and the merge looks like it was painted with a rattle can

This has been for sale for ages. Does make me think it's been rear-ended (oo-er) and they did a cheap repair. The purple looks the original, why go to the effort of painting the door shuts and stopping short?

I quite like it actually..............also think this one hasn't had its belts done or had any history otherwise, was lot cheaper before IIRC.
