An old mate of mines, his dad was a spark for the old regional council and on doing his round in a high rise he noticed that someone was doing just that Pete but it was a bodge job so he chaps the door and an old lady appears turns out her husband had done the wiring earlier in the year but had since passed away so she explained she didn't know what to do about it and was freaking about it my mates dad wired it up safely and told her to keep her mouth shut lol.

Is it me or are less and less people putting up lights outside their houses, a few years ago 25% houses had lights, this morning I drove past at least 100 houses before hitting the dual carrageway, the only one with lights was mine.

The same applies to cars and lorries, my lorry is decorated with tinsel and lights but very few others are.

Is it people being "politically correct" and thinking of other religions (or scared of extremist nutters)
or a sign of austerity
or did we start the christmas build up too early (August).
Plenty of lights up round our end. More so than last year. Looks good.
I like Chrimbo. I like it even more because I finished last Friday (12th) and not back 'til Jan 06th. Happy days
