iirc it was 1.4 bar which is about 20-21 psi. That should have been safe on that turbo, backdraft said it would do 1.6 bar + no probs. Guess we just dont know how its been treated though, all engines need warming up but high power turbos more so ...and cooling down too.

Talking

Man, like I said you got a cracking deal there Ross. Superb car and just needed some tlc when I saw it at martins somehow I don't think that will be a prob for you :-))

Kinda strange getting back into 4 wheels after years on bikes. I hav always struggled to get a kick from any car after riding bikes but the cupra turbo with a 275hp motor was fun so I can imagine what the stripped out mg must feel like.
Got a chance to drive a formula renault a few yrs back and it's about as close as I got to riding the bikes on a track apart from the cornering forces were in real after 6 laps I thought my neck or head was gonna explode.

Hope we can all meet up sometime next yr at a suitable trackday, may hav to bring the bike to keep up thou or let ur Tyres down lol.

Paul

I think he put it all in his stack dash so it told him everything, and then took it all out for the sale. going to do a mod the same as loz and do the dials in the center, oil pressure, oil temp, boost and afr with a wideband

with all the sensors he left in its just plug and play, the oil pressure sensor for the stack is £100 quid alone....

Were the senders for the gauges already in the car from the old stack dash?

no, well yes.

the guy who i bought it of left the sendors while taking the dash.

but the stack gauges were just to much to spend imo.

looking back i would of bought another stack dash to be honest or waited to buy dual gauges from spa.

anyway the sendors etc i used the ones with the guages to make sure the readings are correct etc.
