ZS vs ZT startup

Right this is a strange one.

I parked next to a ZT190 today, i have never heard one fire up before.

He got back to his ZT same time i got back to mine, i heard his startup and it sounded alot more quiet then my 180.

You think its the better build quality or something else?

As soon as it fired up i thought why is a 180 not a quiet.

ZT is a bigger car with a load more sound deadening plus is designed to be more refined, hence why its not as much a drivers car as a ZS

Isn't the 75/ZT seen as the more executive car? Trying to compete with the 3 Series, A4 etc

I was hoping you would stay that, but it did sound really nice and smooth on start up.

Earlier ZS's had better sound deadening.

I'm suprised you heard the ZT with all the stuff around the engine.

ZT is a better handling car if you have the confidence to push it hard just a shame it weights that bit more
