Air box wanted

im looking for a complete standard air box with all fittings pipework ect for a mk1 zs 180 if anyone has one in the shed they want to sell

If you're looking to replace some sort of aftermarket set up - it might be an idea to tell - as you might get a swap offer from someone ....

it has a crappy chinese cone filter thats fallen to bits when i cleaned it and i just want to keep the car as standard

I'd find one that's getting broken on ebay not many people want a standard setup so I wouldnt imagen it would cost much mate
but If I was you Id buy a better cone because the stock setups rubbish

Not sure about rubbish ....

I put a pipercross viper on my old Mk1 and did a RR before and after. Made an extra 5.6bhp.....

You may argue that the kit I put on was rubbish and that's perhaps fair, but until someone comes on with a before and after showing a better gain - I'm not 100% convinced.

I thought the standard air box was designed for the 2 liter KV6 engine and is quite constrictive on the 2.5
Also 5bhp its good for just an induction upgrade in my mind

thanks for the advise i think a standard one is my cheapest option till i have a bit of spare cash one day to buy a nice cone and janspeed
