what to buy next?

Well i managed to save a few pennies and am looking towards my next mod!

for a while i have been after these Xpower lowering springs

http://www.ptp-ltd.co.uk/shop/236_15...spring_kit.htm

but if i get them then i feel that i will need to have my wheel arches flaired due to the aftermarket wheels and 3mm spacers.

Also my Powerflow stainless exhaust system makes an awful noise when it warms up, very rattley sounding when the pressure builds up! which sort of ruins my driving experiance

i have taken the car back to powerflow to complain but they say unless there is a physical fault with the system then nothing can be done. I have also put on some polyurethene exhaust mounts in a hope that it would cure the problem, but no chance!

so, do i go for the springs?

or

a Janspeed centre pipe? (im confident that if i replace the centre pipe then the problem will be cured)

http://www.ptp-ltd.co.uk/shop/227_55...-_janspeed.htm

OR alternatively, i have been considering heat wrapping my exhaust manifold

Think you kinda answered your own question there dude

Exhaust Centre section would be my suggestion if it solves your issue... and wrap the mani as well

Which powerflow franchise did the fitting?

If you are not happy with their response try head office, details are on the website.

If you've got a powerflow I thought they gave a lifetime guarantee. If the problem is in an area that they have replaced, surely it's a head office job as mentioned.

Smile

I'd go for the lowering springs, as everyone will see the difference.

Then go after Powerflow, get that sorted f.o.c, on mine, I had a knock and it was a bit short, putting soot over the boot. Mentioned it on the yearly check and they rebuilt the system, cut and realigned it and extended it.

thats the thing, it has got a lifetime guarantee, which is why i got it!

but, they said there is nothing wrong with the system, its just noise! cant have a replacement on the grounds that the rattleing noise is awful

i will have another go at powerflow and see if that helps my decision
