ZS Not starting

was out in the zed yesterday all ok came to use it today put key in turned the ignition and nothing everything came on could hear petrol pump and just this sound as if you leave the lights on. i thought it was strange as the key fob didnt work had to open with key. would a flat or low battery cause this any ideas as im off to cornwall thursday well supposed to be.thanks

Definitely first thing to check would be battery I'm sure you'll find that's all it is - could have been caused by something as daft as interior light left on

got it going dissconnected battery leeds sprayed with wd40 cleaned and reconnected used one of them jump starter units and bang first time it started really pleased.
