Looking good, have to let us know if the struts make a difference, when it up and running.

Fell into a pothole recently, thought it had taken the f/n/s/ wheel off, but all seems OK. Bad enough to knock the satnav and windscreen fitting off.

Nice! Which car is the strut for as I have not seen any for the 180. Is it only using one mount per side?

Thanks. Will do.

I avoid them like the plague. The councils never pay out for damage so Im not taking the chance!

It's from a Mazda MX-5.

I spent ages looking on ebay for braces that would be high enough to clear everything but most have very shallow brackets. Looked at a few Honda ones and a Lexus one looked like it would but then I saw this, found out that there is hardly any difference in width between an MX-5 and the ZS so took a chance.

It is currently held on by one bolt so I just need either someone to either make up and weld on a baseplate for me or just weld the brackets onto the body.

Think I pay more attention nowadays to pot holes, than whats going on.

I was driving at night in the rain and didnt see a thing, think it was a hole by a drain, thought I had hit someone, it was so bad.

Thanks. Got more plans to "borrow bits" from other cars too.

I especially like the 406 brake conversion. I think thats a great idea. When I had my 220 the upgrade was to the ZS180 brakes!!!!
