That was just like my mk1 was hit. Your A post would have moved a lot. Mine shifted and wasnt its as hard as that

yeah as Dave says looks worse than his was, and that had rippled the bulkhead, the front end was twisted. they wont repair that

I had a look at that when Ross was up for a track day, I was amazed at how much all the fairly chunky components around the impact area had moved

Just goes to show cars are only designed to survive minor crashes from the front, any other direction seems to cause huge amounts of hidden damage
