petrol

I,m getting 100 miles to ?20 ...... which I think is acceptable bareing in mind the cost per litre....... a mate gets 36 miles out of ?10..in his BMW 325i....

I do mixed driving.... pootling around London....involving plenty of full throttle bursts ( in 1st) and some dual carriageway runs at a (reasonable ) speed officer
Does that compare with everyone elses consumption ?

Tenner usually gets me 35 miles. Used to judge it at a fiver per every thirty miles, but the costs have risen so much

we get that, used to get 130 before the price increase, found that total petrol gives us teh best economy, but sometimes the car has its off days and gets about 60-80 on ?20

i used to just fill it right up when on red line and used to get 210-230 miles around town (school and shopping and popping to see family) 320miles on a run but that was to depressing coming from a diesel that done 400-500miles for the same amount so just put in ?30 whenever it needs it taking it to around half a tank and not resetting the mile counter, bliss
