Okay, so had a look under the car today and it was obvious what the offending area was...covered in oil and, as pictured, a pipe seperated!





I will jack up the car and reconnect the pipe, refill the oil (how many litres for v6 again?) and pray the car has not got a seized engine.

Am hoping that the engine cut off on the motorway was to prevent such a seizure so fingers crossed!

Oh, and a quick pic update as I have now put on the site stickers (Thanks Pete)

Excuse the poor quality iphone pics...the sun seems to have drained the colour and the car is wet 'n' dirty lol















very much theMGZS.co.uk track car now....and I still have the website on a a sunstrip to receive and fit!

Also fitted new reg plates as the old ones were black.

Its about 5.2L for the v6 Hope no major damage has been done,

JIMZS180 is on a distinguished road
car looks great in the flesh..even if it was in the wind/rain/fog/dark and you were hiding behind a steemed up screen!!!!!!! Hope its an easy fix let us know if you need any help the axle stands are sitting where I said they would be,Hydraulic jack should be there today as well.

Hope the oil pipe is all thats needed to get her up and running.

Take it that it was one of the oil cooler pipes that let go???
