Unknown as yet, Kev hasn't managed to come through yet to give a diagnosis.

Thanks to all who support and advise and hopefully will get the car running again.

Was thinking of stripping and getting rid if engine is gubbed but have now decided that regardless I will keep it and through the winter months save up to get it going again. If donations are made this will quicken the process and I would arrange those people to get first dibs on track days at various tracks around the UK.

We shall see what the outcome of the current engine is first!

(if it's dead I forsee a Top Gear style coffee table)

I only asked as the site owners have agreed to help out with a donation towards a replacement engine if it is required. We'll post details when appropriate, it'll be a decent enough sum to get you on your way.

Well now that my internet is back on, thought I would mention my hopes of the snow clearing before the 7th/8th!
Ross and I are meant to be getting the engine/gearbox/tailgate then but this snow seems to have halted the country!
