Question - Knowledge needed

Hi All

Being an 04 ZR, mine does not have a digital radio etc.

I have one spare in my garage that I am looking to fit, but obviously I need to fit a digital ariel for it.

Is it best to get the one that partly goes on the windscreen?

How easy is it to get the pillar cover off, so the part that needs to attach to metal, can attach to metal etc?

Don't follow the metal touches metal bit...

I had a Dab radio fitted with the aerial on the windscreen and it was just a wired connection into the back of the stereo and the aerial stuck onto the windscreen with the supplied sticky fixing....
