Unhappy Gutted I missed my next 180

I'v been looking for a MK2 180 saloon for some time but the way things have been they are always miles away or to expensive. Last night I looked on Ebay as i do most nights only to see an 05 180 saloon in silver that looked well looked after with 51000 on the clock !! The best part was it was only 10 miles away from me and was on for a very reasonable £1695!! I texted the wife to let her know what was on offer, she wanted to look at the pictures on ebay when she finished work. Ok I thought I can wait an hour before clicking the Buy it now button. Well guess what it sold before she got home!! How gutted am I

Sometimes you need to act fast. Did you keep their contact details in-case it falls through?

I messaged through Ebay, they replied saying they would let me know if the buyer failed to turn up but I don't hold out much hope as a deposit has changed hands shame is it was just what I've been after !!

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to seek permission!

That is so true!! The problem I find is the ideal car is always miles away there was a nice looking red one in Fife but that's just a silly distance to travel, although the 600 mile drive home would be fun

I've travelled 500 mile round trips for my ZSs. Totally worth it. My latest one was actually the nearest!
