Popping out of gear

red robbo Member Join Date: Aug 2012 Location: Northwich Posts: 205	Had this trouble many moons ago (1988 I believe), with my Triumph Dolomite Sprint gearbox. Kept jumping out of 4th (in or out of overdrive). Turned out to be the layshaft. Had to hold it in gear.
