i did the conversion my self i took those pics the night i got it up and running, iv done a few things since to tidy it up like mount the ecu properly

its a really fun car to drive now! thought the weight would be too much for the front but it has been good for traction but it does scrub on most corners and bumps but i can live with that if thats the only problems

Looking good.

Using the ti rad and intercooler is good thinking, ti rads are easier to source than 220/420 turbo ones.

The only thing I would suggest is moving the air filter down behind the front bumper, 2 45 degree elbows and a 300mm hard pipe will do the job perfectly.

What engine was in it originally, mine was 1.6 and the original front springs and shocks didn't like the extra weight of the T series, I swapped to V6 front springs and shocks, a massive improvement.

Nice work tho, still one of the best colours imo

thanks

its a 45 td rad/ic cos it was free but think its a bit restrictive! iv got a pulsar ic waiting to go on but think im gonna buy a universal one instead! yeah the air filter is going behind the bumper once my silicone bends arrive and iv still got loads of tubing left over for it.

it was a 1.6 aswell but the susp seems ok with a little scrubbing on some fast corrners but i do need to lower the back cos its looks a bit nose down

Put the battery in the boot, give you the space for the air filter then with maybe a good cold air feed!

thanks i used the 820 loom that came with the engine and powered it up with the zs body loom. bit of a pain in the hoop but a 620 or 220 loom is much easyer for the conversion

Ade at AA did mine, it looks like he used the existing zs bodyloom mated to the 420 turbo engine loom out of my old car.

Looks nice and oe, and touchwood has been 100% reliable
