The Shafz mobile now has an Incar camera (or 2)

i have only test fitted one at the moment, which is hooked up to the carputer and does live recording.....iv set it to record for 20 mins, then it will overwrite the previous recording.....just incase i manage to capture something good

here is a quick vid iv uploaded....its not a good one as it lost quality when i converted it from AVI to WMV Then to FLV on youtube + its mounted on the dash and it was raining

...im hoping to have it hidden away at the front of the car somewhere but im struggling to think of where it could go.

The camera im using is an Eyetoy from the Playstation 2 which is good enough imo!

i also have another camera to use as a reversing camera, which my screen flicks over to once i put the car in reverse

it will be positioned in the dewiper cap..i will upload some pics once its all done but im again have to rip the carputer out again and do some wiring

Now you'll be able to get all those "confrontations" on video, which is always fun! Ive recorded my driving a few times by shoving a digi camera under the passenger headrest, but the results havent been great (why does it always look like youre doing 40mph when youre really doing double that?!). I like the idea of having each ne recording overwrite the last. Cool little setup for sure

As i said on MSN mate it looks awesome, your car is truly one of a kind and the electronics in it are awesome.

This is some proper modding here, can't wait to see it again on Sunday
