Right been a bit slow progress on this one lately. Been trying to build up the parts i need and been concentrating on getting the MK1 sold. Anyway started the strip down today...


All damaged parts removed apart from the bonnet which needs to stay on as its being stored outside

looks like you're well on the way dude.

is it just me or is the front slam pannel bent around the bonnet catch? Might just be the pics though

Yea it is abit mate but as you probably know they're made of very flimsy metal so should easily bend back into shape.

yeah nothing a swift tap with a hammer won't sort.

So are you giving it a new MK2 front end or MK1 since those are easier to get? To be honest the MK2 looks a bit weird without the 180 kit anyway

MK2 mate i dont bodge . Already got the bumper, rads, Grill, maybe headlights. Just need a support bar and bonnet.

Another quick update, Rads came this week so got them fitted. Also trial fitted the bumper on today to make sure everything lines up. yes i know the bonnets bent.lol



Just got to get a bonnet, headlights and bumper support bar now.
