The plan, (My '73 BGT)

This summer I am finally getting the family BGT back on the road.
I intended to sort it last year, but then Sarah fell pregnant, the weather was crap and I only got as far as changing the fuel pump, but it does now run again!

Next weekend I'm going to start going over it, I've already got a few jobs to sort:
  • New Carpets
  • Sort the clutch problem (I think it's the slave cylinder)
  • Charge the flat battery!
  • Knackered grab handles on the doors
  • Replace the broken fan heater switch
  • Put some air in the tyres!
  • Tax
  • Insure it!
  • MoT it!

I'll try and use this thread to post some pics and keep you all updated, if there's any interest?

Here's a very old picture of the B!

its the one that was in me mums drive when you came to get your alloys. Rubber bumper bgt my stepdad bought it as a project but hasnt touched it for ages. Now my mums kicked him out for cheating it needs to go. It was running but hasnt been started in a while and has some panels and stuff ready for when he was gonna replace em.
