Then might I suggest you get your Crufts accredited Judging badges retaken..humph!
Reet Dog indeed
A little bit of a Barker I'll grant you!
Bit of polish though some imagination followed by a couple of days hard graft and a healthy sense of humour....
Seriously I thought like you on first impsection but when I got it up on their lift and had a good look under..recent front discs..recent shocks all round..plenty of paperwork...you never know..maybe I'll be fortunate

Personally when i go to a garage forecourt i expect to see a nicely clean car, not dumped around the back of the garage because it looks terrible....

If im buying a car i dont expect to have to take it home and spend several days cleaning it removing tat from it

IMO at the time i had my eyes on several other mk2s and IMO in the condition it was in (chav stickers door handles nearly falling off not the right alloys interior filthy) i thought what a pile of crap

Sorry if my opinion of your vehicle offends you but this is what i thought at the time

I expect youll make it mint again

Tim

My reply was an attempt (failed) at humour
Absolutely no offence taken at all
Everything you say is true...I have no idea why the dealer..who was really helpful by the way...made so little attempt at "marketing" the car?
I'm on the door handle problem when the weather heats up and I get my glass fibre repair kit prepared

I gave him £700 but when I was underneath I noticed both CV boots had small splits so he replaced those and put me half a tank of gas in.
I've stuck a few badges on fitted a set of wheel centres and swapped the slave other than that it seems to go pretty well
