My girlfriend lives in Norwich at the minute and her friends and housemates haven't a bloody clue what I'm saying and I even tone it down for them!
Her mum is from Devon and she struggles with me even though she's lived in Cheshire and taught in Manchester for nearly 30 years.

I guess I need to speak a bit clearer.

From what I can understand folk here mumble and just plain moan about everything. That and missing syllables from words, e.g t'pub.

Short messages with little mouth movement means more time for moping!

(We don't all moan, just the people you meet day to day do.)
