basically its the opposite to the pusher but pulls lol, as for what it pulls against, you have to anchor the car down, in this case it was a load of bricks and a good handbrake and i pulled this off my van which was anchored down the same as the car

If someone rammed you up the arse again (I sure hope not mate......for your sake and the cars) would the car not absorb the impact as it should do now since the shell has been weakened??? I honestly don't know mate.......it may be that it makes no difference.......just curious thats all.

Jim
i suppose it will be a little weaker, but sometimes it can be stronger when rebuilding as they way they are welded is quite shocking really from factory and when replacing new panels you always put more weld on

the welds in production are tested for strength and cost..remember that all cars have to crumple now! i remember one of the first front crash tests on the l322 range rover smashed the whole test to pieces but the rangey didn't bend a bit !!!!

i wasnt going to replace the rear panel but it looked to scruffy from the jig work, so for£180 i thought i would buy a new one, PITA to fit though still got to do a little work as the passenger light dont fit right, but that can be easily sorted

I think what you have done is right, makes you feel better as you would know it is there otherwise. I would do the same if it were me. Looks pretty good and from what you have done already I'm sure the light misalignment is nothing in comparison.
