yes quite easy fit apparently, cheap engine to buy and fits straight to pg1 gearbox too.

Yeah, sounds like too much time and work to sort it out. I wouldn't mind if i only lived a couple of miles from work and had time in the evenings to tinker but i need the car to be able to travel back and forth to kent from dorset to see my partner.

I would love to do a turbo conversion tbh. Miss my turbos.

If thats the case bud then your quickest option will be a replacement kv6 lump,

500-700 quid for a average mile engine,40-70k.


do the belts while doing the cams.

wonder what caused it to fail so bad
