Couple of my ZS with my brother's new 416

Washed my car today so I could get some pictures of the scratches and see how bad they were and also washed my brother's new 416. He's been looking for a car for a while and I found him this one, with 7 months MoT, for £450. It's done 72,000 and is near mint.

Nice example. Black door handles, is that standard? Just that they seem to stand out when sat next to yours. So how is yours looking with regards the scratches?

Yeah, black handles were standard as it's a very early 416. It's got electric rear windows too, something my Zed is lacking!

The scratches are deep, and I don't want to bodge it, they've alse done the passenger door. It was too dark to get clear pics of the scratches so I'll have another go tomorrow but I've filed a claim now, so the wheels are in motion.

Even so, it is still a royal pain as you have to go through this and lose the excess I guess like most policies. I had a drunk jump on the bonnet of a previous car once, he did the whole street with mine being the last one! Bonnet, grill and lights, not a happy bunny I tell thee!
