Armrest cupholder

I bought this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1709533336...84.m1439.l2649

fits snug but when closing the armrest the catch doesnt lock because the mecanism on the hinge fouls on the back of the cupholder. Anyone got any ideas?

I know, I know, keep seeing your ebay ad as i'm scanning for parts.

If I come pick them up in the new year will have to have a proper photoshoot as I haven't got any decent pics of mne yet,

Standard on all 03 plates or newer (maybe some 52's?) have you tryed rotating it to see if it makes a difference? I think the pen holder should be closest to the drivers seat.

It seems a bit random, I didn't get one but my nephew did, he didn't want it so he gave it to me. Mine doesn't close either.
