Start of the wheel refurb

Kids where doing my head in yesterday so I retreated to the garage for a few hours with a bit of sand paper and my spare alloys

Ive polished out all the curbing and corosion.

Do I go cheap and get them painted or travel and get them powder coated hmmm ?

I like the idea of white. But !!

Must get my finger out as I will soon need new rubber.

Do look good in white.

If you paint them and later decide you want to change, it wouldnt cost as much as the powder coat option.

powdercoat is about the same price as painting and more durable, wouldnt go back to painting

My old straights were powdercoated white, durable thick finish but if kerbed a right mare to sort out! Looks stunning though.

Going back a few years...........

White it is. They look awsome.

Its getting the powder done locally. I can get them painted by a mate in his body shop.

Black powder coating I can get done local but its an industrial finish not a show finish.

My local place is very ford, as in any colour as long as its black.

Least black doesnt show the brake dust as bad as white!!!!

But I think the red/white combo looks good.
