Rally mud flaps???

I can see how you can put some self tappers into the wheel arch, but how do you fix them underneath the car, as I can't see anywhere to attach them too?

you usually get a pair of small metal brackets, bend them to shape and used the holes either side to fix them to the body of the car and other end to affix to mud flap The crap plastic brackets are using the holes on the o/s and there is a mtching hole on the n/s
