Sonic_160zr will become famous soon enough
Spending a few days on the Pornstar!!

Ive had this week off and I decided that I would use some of the time to sort some of the niggly little issues that I have with the car. the main issue is the saggy rear bumper as most of you have had the joy of fixing your self, and also the rear bumper spat has come unstuck at one end so that really needed sorting too, kinda handy as its a damn sight easer to do with the bumper off.

Managed to get the bumper off yesterday and noticed a that one of the metal "s" clips is missing of one of the bumper mounts, prob why it was sagging so bad! I also noticed some accident damage from a previous owner and subsiquent rust because of it. Im kinda at a stand still at the minute because I cant refit the bumper until the "S" clip arrives from Rimmers (hopefully tomorrow!!) So I thought that I would use the time to get some of the other issues sorted. Going to clean all the rear up and then treat any of the rusty areas, Im going to use black hammerite to treat the rust, as it wont be visible on the car when the bumper is on its not worth me wasting what little paint I have, specially at the price it costs to get mixed!

Car looks so sad with no rear bumper!

No been given the good news with some Tiger seal so that should hold it for now. Ive noticed that a few bits of the bodykit are starting to come away and this has already been "fixed" or attempted by someone before and it wasnt done too great by the looks of it. Im hoping to get the car into a bodyshop prob next year to get all the bodywork issues sorted in one go. so should be looking at its best in time for the shows next year!!

And here is a pic of the engine bay:

This is a kinda before pic as im doing a few odds and ends to spruce it up a little. Not bothering to clean the induction pipes as I will be investing in a new induction system soon and the manifold is soon to be replaced too but looking to sort out some of the bits like the black battery tray thing and other little bits that are looking rusty and naff, as well as something a bit special with the engine cover!!

If anyone has any ideas for the engine bay or comments criticisim etc im all ears

Cheers,
Matt
