My car on the rollers

Just a quick thread of a couple of vids of my car on the rollers today at BD Engineering. Had the jets changed slightly by the guys at KAI Performance on my nitrous install and had it rolling roaded to make sure it was all ok. The first vid is without it. Notice how long it takes to get to the rev limiter. The second vid is with nitrous on. He doesn't flick it on till around 3000 revs to make sure he's not going to damage the engine so it seems quite a long time but he just increased the revs slowly to start with.
The first vid.

The second.Nitrous on.

Little bit disappointed tbh dave. Well not really disappointed as it's still friggin quick and i try not to get too het up on figures. Without was as follows:

202bhp and 165lbft of torque @6945rpm.(basically on the rev limiter)
Torque is down a bit imo.

With nitrous:

239bhp and 212lbft of torque @6322rpm

IMO i think the rollers are way out. I spoke to ralph who used them before and he rekons the 3 cars he put on there were around 10% out.

I'm more interested in the 47 lbft increase of the torque which you really feel on the road.

theyre is a guy over on XPF who had cams fitted and his car was makin very similar power to mine 170 odd bhp atw, he spent loads and loads tryin to get it right ( about £3.5k iirc ) one visit to the banned man on here and he instantly gained 40 odd bhp.

Hey mate,

i like your rep, looks really good - do you ever take it on track days?

sounds great too, what power figures were you hoping for?

well the nitrous is showing a healthy gain over running normal so regardless of the numbers you know its working ,and they are big enough numbers to make for a pretty rapid car tbh.
