Galletto 1260 - ECU tool

Anybody tried one of these before? Seen some cheap ones popping up on ebay and other places. Looks like both engines are covered although the V6 is only listed for the Defenfer & Freelander. Would it still be compatible I wonder, and would it even work? I know ECU flashing is a dangerous game and best left to the pros but it's an interesting bit of kit at a low price.

never seen that one before, ive got a wee launch eobd reader which is pretty good, reads the code, tells you what it is and gives you the option to delete it,
theres a new launch one out where you can read graphs for live data ie seeing if the lambda's switching ect, pretty good, keep meaning to buy one but my mo ney keeps evaporating

its used alot on the astra forum, as is a kwp2000. a good way to map a car, althought the map is generic and not tailored. personally i wouldnt take the risks, even on a tried map but alot of people have, with no problems

I've seen the kwp2000 but that one doesn't appear to include the siemens ecu. But I tent to agree, this is a little generic.

Bit more expensive but how about one of these? Now that's got to be far moy tailored!
