take it there on a dry day if possible after driving it to make sure most of the water is off the underside, stick one of those moisture catchers inside it ideally jack it up so the tyres arent touching the ground so you dont end up with them having flat spots, then ideally a small spot of oil down the bores after parkd up but probably not the end of the world if you cant do this

This £60 you have been quoted, what do you get for that? Is it secure? Is there electrics for plugging in a trickle maintenance charger? If you are going to disconnect the battery, is it secure enough? Also what about your insurance if the alarm is not active? Lots of questions.

Nowhere to put it. God forbid someone on MQ should be allowed a garage.....

Good questions Stamford, I know it is very secrure but I do not know the answers to the other questions........ I imagine the insurance would be invalidated, I dont imagine electrics would be included. All I want is to put my car to bed for 4 1/2 months, arrive back and drive it home. Should be simple, but maybe it isnt.

Way ahead of you on the moisture catcher Ritch, knicked a huge one from work that is currently collecting my tool-sheds moisture, I didnt think about making sure it was a dry run though, thanks.

Although I would pay for someone to house & maintain for a while! Unfortunately I imagine if anyone had the space, they wouldnt need the money if you know what I mean.

I will stop off on saturday guys you'll have to PM me a postcode.

Good ideas though guys, exactly what I wanted from this topic.

I was thinking more of the secure area of camp, rather than MQ.

Airmen with a garage wtf, do they have cars now

andy-81 has a spectacular aura aboutandy-81 has a spectacular aura about
If you were to put it in storage I would definately be removing the wheels to save the tyres and the 60quid a month will include their insurance so if anything was to happen or god forbid it was nicked the companies insurance would cover it

I would also leave next to no fuel in there to save money on letting fuel go bad
