size for sparkplug socket?

anyone tell me the socket size for the spark plugs, planning to do my own service over easter and gonna treat myself to a new tool set, in fact anyone recommend anywhere i could get a good set of tools for a reasonable price?

Think he just wants the socket size to remove the plugs mate... never said anything about a gap tool.

10mm sparkplug Socket

Halfords are good, although mid range, if you can afford it then a basic tool kit from Snap-on

lol! a basic tool kit from Snap-On..................it'll cost more than the cars worth!

Kev you say 10mm sparkplug socket............where did you get 10mm from? Are these the smaller type plugs? if so then it is a 5/8" socket surely?
