180 power options.

What mods can be done on a 180 mk2 for more power. Already have a full stainless and induction kit.
Ideally don't want to spend the price of a 180 on it either lol

What induction ? Proper closed cold air induction - or just a big filter ?

Decat and induction are the standard upgrades to be honest. Following that are Janspeed manifolds, piper cams and vernier pulleys are the big money options with a lightened flywheel. Good luck finding a supercharger.

Personally - Once you've got a decat and proper induction and you want more without breaking the bank - look at Stamford's remap thread when he got it Reidy remapped. That's probably your best bet at about £250 ish (total guesstimate by the way) Should see the good side of 200bhp.

Follow that up with a decat and a remap, you won't be seeing big figures just sensible tweaking and better running. Best mods to follow would be the lightened flywheel and a Torsen diff. As for power you will never get it from a KV6 without spending big, which we will never do as it is dead money these days.

Reidy does have some agents now or I think he can put a generic map on your ECU, it isn't as good as live mapping but is better than nothing.

dont forget to start looking at ways to cut weight, so many people spend fortunes trying to get a few extra BHP, then drag loads of added kilos of weight they could strip out. I once took 190 kg out of my turbo techniques Sierra 4x4. made it feel 10% more powerful.

I went the weight removal route but the car got so noisy that I hated driving it! I went on a diet instead!
