Replacing brake hoses how to.....?

I've seen a 'how to' for replacing brake hoses but can't for the life of me (or google!) find it now. I think it was for a Rover 400 but have checked mg-rover and can't find it anywhere. It's the one where the guy get slagged for using grips instead of a pipe spanner.

Anyone seen it or know where it is????

Any help appreciated as I'm planning on changing all 4 on the diesel Zed this weekend.

Thanks for that.....I found that today but it wasn't the one I saw before.

What size pipe spanner do you need for a zed diesel?

The rigid pipes are 10 or 12 mm iirc, it's worth giving the unions a good go with a wire brush and some Plusgas or similar.

Re: Replacing brake hoses how to.....?

Aye Ritchy....I did that yesterday when I freed the caliper slide bolts.

As a tip for anyone struggling with caliper slide bolts.....I used a blow torch to heat the caliper holder where the slide bolt fits into, then used a 15mm jaw fork type ball splitter and hammered them out.....takes about 10 mins for each one max even when they are well and truely stuck!

MickUK is on a distinguished road
Worth investing in a decent, wide spanner. Or even a brake pipe spanner.
