2 Funnels really was simple, for me it was as easy as changing the engine oil!

Taking 2 minutes to remove the fuel vapour purge/charcoal cannister or whatever it is, a torque wrench gets straight on it

I think she knows by now I might 'borrow' bits here and there. (was a spare hose ) When I first did an induction mod on my 180 she wondered where a metre or so of tumble dryer vent hose had disappeared to!

As you know, had the car detailed by Steve, just post a couple of pics here for progress purposes.

Also finally got my VIS Indicators fitted, big thanks to Big_Wasa for that, and apologies for being late
It has confirmed that my Vis are currently working superbly.
On the not so good side, we both smelt fuel strongly as Warren was working under the bonnet, so I'll be trying to investigate this before I go away. Looks like I've lost a fair bit of Coolant in the last week too. Not to worry though.

As the cambelts have been done my money is on one of the injector rail seals.

Coolant will be the good old stat housing, It will give you some jobs to sort whilst once your back. Infact I think you should leave it with me instead of a car park

Haha, well the V is one of my weekly checks, due tomorrow so I'll be in there then.

I agree with what you thought about them seals and bought a set of lower manifolds & fuel rail for £35, even if they turn out to be spares its a good price, if the stat is leaking, perfect time to change them all

Love to leave it with an enthusiast but you dont have the space

Its weekly check day, topped the coolant up, didnt need much. No sign of so much as condensation on the dipstick or cap, oil still looks new. Coolant in general has no dark spots or any debris whatsoever.

Took it for a good 30 mile trip this morning, no fuelly smell at all, no coolant leak at all. All injectors and fuel connections/rail/injectors are dry. V bay completely dry, just more annoying sponge coming off the cover.

Im happy that there is no real issue at the moment.
