£5k ZS

I know this one has been discussed, probably on Faceache.

https://www.oakwoodmotorgroup.co.uk/...mshire-1433972

I saw it today as it was at the garage where I got my AR 159, Mrs TC even asked if I'd rather have it than the Alfa but as it's time for something different.

The car is in very good condition overall, just a couple of marks.

Is it worth £4995, in the real world it should be, in MG world probably not.

Smile

we need to talk up the price, stop them all being broken.

I always wanted a MG RV8 thought I'd leave it till the price came down, went down to £10 - £11 thousand few years back then started creeping back up, £20 thousand now for a good one!!

So hopefully the ZS's will start to rise in price.

I was talking to the only other true petrol head at work the other day on the subject of prices, his Y reg BMW M3 is in a similar condition to my ZS but worth at least £2K, I'll take £500.

While I love the MG's, that is an 06 plate. Only just over 10years old. That's not even close to becoming a classic so you can't expect the price to have gone up already.

If they were very limited numbers then maybe id expect to have to pay a little more for something different. But there are so many about still.

If you were looking to stash some spare cash then a good clean original 'may' be worth more in 10 years! But then you could probably get more with the cash in a bank..

My zs here in aus cost me just under $12k and that Was last year, saying that it’s immaculate and hard to come by them over here. Worth the money as other so many other cars for the money are just rubbish. If I was in the uk and was looking for a zs id be after a car like this for similar money
