Cally180 is on a distinguished road
Defo looks good sitting like that, too low for the track mind you, could see a curb collecting a few part off you.

It was civic coilovers? What springs did you change it for?

I'm missing my track car now.

yes it is far too low, these are civic coil overs with the original ZS springs. had an hour or so yesterday afternoon so decided to fit them, didn't have time to set them up properly, will do that next week so I can get all the cambers set up right etc before Silverstone next Sunday.

Basically, we set the coil settings to the lowest setting as the ZS springs were longer and needed a base to start from. The dampers have about 6 inches of thread so I can wind them up a long way.

At the moment the sump is about 3 inches from the floor.

An okay look for the euro boys but not at all practical for track use. It would pay to record all settings in a logbook and log all adjustments one at a time to see the differences. But this would need to be done at the same track, same conditions etc. Easier said then done as we never have the luxury of testing!

if you know what your doing, you can get 95% there then make minor tweaks on track testing.
you will need corner scales and a head for geometry first tho.

well had it on the rolling road last weekend and I was pleased but dissappointed at the same time.

Having removed the balance valve from the plenum, I was pleased with the torque curve, which considering it was done on a power run day with a wide variety of cars on the rollers, the operator commented that this was the run of the day with the best curve and consistency over the two runs.

Dissappointing though that so many horses have escaped despite decatting and inner wing filter...down to 166 bhp (165.9) with 156 ft/lb torque.

there was a definate pick up at 4250 as the power valves opened so I am going to jam oped the power valve and take it back on the rollers to see what effect that has on torque curves
