Carbon fibre bootlid

Track car project slowly coming along, my latest addition is my new carbon bootlid and perpex screen, saved a heck of weight ! Just waiting for the other bits now as I plan for a whole lot more carbon !

Haha oops don't know why it's upside down. Total weight gift the bootlid is now under 7 kgs for the lot including the Perspex and brackets etc which isn't bad as it was over 30. Been a project of mine so been learning the process myself. Bonnet and doors to follow 😄👍

Have you kept a record of the work done? Would be good to understand how it's done and what you've learnt along the way. Sounds awesome.
