POL prep
So with POL being little over 2 weeks away how is the prep going on the cars? Due to the Mk1 failing it's NCT on a list of issues I've had to get the Mk2 XPG back on the road at short notice and she's going for test on Saturday. (thankfully I didn't take the engine out of it or start any major stripping) So she will be getting a full wash/wax/clay bar treatment on the exterior and it's already gotten a full interior valet done this week. Other than that it will just need a good service as it was due one when it came off the road and 2 rear tyres otherwise it will be going to Longbridge on hairpins.
How is everyone else getting on with their prep? What are the job lists looking like? Not long now lads. Absolutely buzzing for my first trip over

I got my brakes and stuff sorted last weekend. I just need to tidy up the interior and have a wash polish and wax next.
I wanted to get my diffuser on but it's not going to happen.
Haven't enough money and the inlet is rattling like I don't know what and that needs done next.
And the gearbox
And the rear brakes painted

Well the blue mk1 is still sorned and work in progress. T16 is having a pre-MOT tomorrow, exhaust is blowing and has now developed an intermittent running fault, odd hissing when running and loss of power then picks up fine. No obvious faults found, all hoses okay. The ways things are going I think the old faithful mk1 will be on the road this year once I get it running, still have the immobiliser issue to address.
So fingers crossed T16 will be at PoL. Timing of the MOT and running fault is crap!

It would be nice for Pete's T16 to represent the forum at the show. It will be a nice tribute to him. It's a car I also can't wait to see in person

I'll look out for you! I'm here in my 180 too Sam.
Going with a mate and his brother in a vxr converted Astra gsi
My mates wheels didn't come in time for his wide body S2000 annoyingly for him so he's had to give his show and shine spot to his brother.
Mine didn't get the go ahead to go in lol
It'll be in the car park
