up to 195 with no mods, really! Mine adjusted itself with breathing mods and registered 191 on the rollers on a standard ecu before it was mapped.

Not sure if you could use that on a mk2 as the ecu and scu are paired.

Wouldn't work on a mk1 either as it won't be matched to the 5AS unit.

Yeah, I don't see how you could use it as a standalone item, I'm pretty sure that you'd need the matching 5AS/bcu and fobs to make it work.

It may even require a different sort of signal from a ZT/75 alarm system. Although the ZT and ZS both run the Seimans 2000 ecu for the KV6 they are connected differently to the loom.

when i had a new fob programed to the SCU recently the guy told me that its as easy to switch ECU's between SCU's as it is to reprogram a new fob to an SCU. you just need to tell it. and the guy would only charge you a tenner. so you could use with existing SCU, no problem aslong as you know what your doing. But as Stamford says the standard ECU is self learning +/-10% i believe so, is it worth it for only 5 BHP gain?

the self learning is more about component wear and sensor wear along with the change in values.
Whilst the ecu will adapt somewhat to some mods, such as a change of intake it is not going to adapt properly to mods such as 270cams.
The 10% adaptation does not mean an increase in power by 10%.
