Going to try to travel from Newcastle to Preston for a family gathering today. As the A66 appears to be shut 'til the 6th (!) will have to take the A69 and then M6 south. If you never hear from me again, it's been a pleasure

Well, the best made plans, mice and men and all that........all routes west are closed so that solves that problem, not going to bother now....think I'll just buy a bottle of spirits. Unfortunately for you lot you still have my company for the foreseeable
