I've just had another look at the ebay add for the red one, and when you click to contact the seller it comes up with...

internet vehicle auctions
Shaw Road
Speke
Liverpool
Merseyside
L24 9JT

In the ad it looks like it's a private seller, but then the address is an industrial estate.

Emailed the seller for some more information, also asked if he accepts part-exchange for an MG TF

Seller must be private, doesn't do part exchange.

Does anyone think this car is too cheap? I mean 36,000 mile on it.

Not too cheap - but cheap enough to deal with any issues that it may have. The seller may well be awar eof others that have sold for less or is simply keen to sell. Lets face it - Jays went from £2200 to £1200 in a week coz he saw a car he wanted.

I'll wager the belts have not been done - so there's £500 straight away, and the tailpipe looks like a pea shooter so there's a few quid to spend straight away if you want to make it more expensive

Yeh probably not.

I'm really tempted, it's just the travelling, it's almost 3 hours there and three hours back.

I could take the train, but even that's 3 hours and £60 for a ticket!!!

Going to speak to the wife tonight as I'll need to borrow the money out of our savings until I sell the TF.

Hopefully I'll get £1500 for the TF
I'm selling a VVC head, engine loom, ecu, gasket set, tensioner and timing belt to convert a TF 135 to a VVC 160, that should raise £400
Going to sell a remote control car, hopefully £250
My laptop £200
and finally this ZS I have once it's running right, maybe £500
TOTAL: £2850

If I get a car for £1500, that leaves about £1300 and that can go towards the baby fund.
