100watt is illegal and also its too much load for the relays and the lamps cant take that much heat either really, should be 55w, i did have a brief spell of the (xenon halogen) bulbs that where cheap, but found the coatings they use for the bulbs are very cheap and they fall off and into the lamp unit, my mates mk2 did this and its not all blue dust sitting inside the lamp looks terrible, i think its worth spending the extra to get the philips extreme or osram nightbreakers bulbs, believe ring has just bought out a brighter bulb now as well, ive gone HID for now and pretty happy with it but they may be coming off in the future if the police start clamping down on them
